FAQ

Frequently asked questions

We explain terms that may be new to you

What is the Agile/Scrum methodology?

Agile is an adaptive approach to project management where work is divided into short iterations called sprints (usually 2 weeks).

Scrum is a specific Agile framework with defined roles (Product Owner, Scrum Master, Dev Team) and ceremonies (daily standup, sprint review, retrospective).

The main advantage: the ability to respond flexibly to change and deliver value regularly instead of waiting months for a "finished" product.

What is a Kanban board?

Kanban is a visual work management method originating from Japan (literally "signal board").

Tasks are represented as cards moved between columns: To do → In progress → Done. We use tools like Trello or Jira.

Benefits: progress is visible at a glance, bottlenecks are easy to spot, and you can limit work in progress (WIP limit).

What is the difference between UX and UI?

UX (User Experience) = the user's experience. How easy or hard is it to reach a goal? Is the purchase path intuitive? Where do users get lost?

UI (User Interface) = the user interface. What does it look like? Colors, buttons, typography, animations. What you see on the screen.

An analogy: UX is the apartment layout (is the bathroom close to the bedroom?), UI is the decor (wall colors, furniture).

What is a product backlog?

A backlog is an ordered list of everything to be done in a project. Not a plan - a list.

Items at the top have the highest priority and are best defined. Those at the bottom may still be vague ideas.

The Product Owner is responsible for prioritizing the backlog. In each sprint the team "pulls" as many tasks from the top as it can deliver.

How do you bill for project management?

Hourly billing: €52 net/h for the Project Manager role.

The invoice is issued in the last week of the calendar month together with:

  • A PDF report or an interactive Google Data Studio dashboard
  • A breakdown of hours and tasks
  • A summary of project progress

Meetings: online (Google Meet, Teams) or offline at your office - your choice.
