Food production

Orders by phone, production from memory. Time for a system that plans your production.

We build custom systems for bakeries, confectioneries and food producers. Regular customers order online, the production plan is calculated from orders, and raw materials and batches stay under control - without paper slips and rewriting.

Industry challenges

Food production lives to the rhythm of orders

These are the problems we hear most often from owners of bakeries and food plants.

A plant without a system
  • Regular customers call and text late into the evening - orders end up on paper slips and in Excel
  • One person builds the production plan from memory - when they are out, the plant works blind
  • An order change after the list closes ends in overproduction or shortages at the customer
  • You learn raw material consumption after the fact; stock is watched by eye
  • A question about a raw material batch in a finished product means hours of digging through papers
A plant with a custom system
  • Customers place orders online until a set cutoff time - no calls and no rewriting
  • The production plan is calculated from orders automatically: what, how much and for when
  • Raw material demand follows from the plan - you know in advance what to order from suppliers
  • Raw material and product batches recorded in the system - traceability from delivery to customer
  • Release documents and customer settlements in one place, ready for invoicing
System scope

What we deploy for food producers

We match the scope to your plant - from an ordering panel to a full system with batches and raw materials.

Ordering panel for customers

Shops, hotels and restaurants order online with their own price list, history and order templates.

Standing orders and cutoffs

Recurring daily orders, a list cutoff time, changes allowed up to a set limit.

Production planning

A consolidated plan from orders for each day: what to produce, in what quantities and for which routes.

Raw materials and recipes

Demand calculated from the production plan, raw material stock, minimum levels and purchase suggestions.

Batches and traceability

Batch numbers from raw material to finished product - within minutes you can show where a given batch went.

Routes and releases

Release lists for drivers and routes, delivery documents, customer returns handling.

Documents and settlements

Delivery notes, monthly statements per customer, export to invoicing and accounting.

Sales reports

Sales by customer and product, returns, overproduction - data for product range decisions.

How we deploy

From analysis to a working system

Transparent rules, clear contracts, payment after work acceptance. No surprises.

01

Plant analysis

We visit you on site or connect remotely. We walk through the process from order intake to goods release and write down how your plant really works.

From 30 min to a few days
02

Documentation and quote

We describe the features, screens and integrations. You receive a document and a concrete quote - before any build decision is made.

5-50 pages of documentation
03

Build in stages

First the core: customer orders and the production plan. Then raw materials, batches and settlements. You review and test each stage on real production.

First stage in 4-8 weeks
04

Deployment and growth

We train your team and your customers, go live and stay on for support. The system grows together with the plant.

Payment after acceptance
What it costs

How much a system for a food producer costs

Real price ranges from our projects. No per-user subscription - the system is yours.

B2B ordering panel

€2,875-7,000 net

Online orders from regular customers, individual price lists, release documents and statements.

Ordering with planning

€8,050-14,000 net

The panel plus a production plan calculated from orders, raw materials, demand and delivery routes.

System with traceability

from €16,100 net

Batches from raw material to product, multiple warehouses or plants, integrations with ERP, scales and labels.

Every project starts with documentation and an exact quote - you know what you are paying for before work begins.

We connect the system to what you already use

We do not replace tools that work - we connect the system to what you already have.

From our practice

We have already done it for a bakery

For an artisan bakery we built BakePilot - a system where regular customers (shops, hotels) place orders online and the bakery plans production from them and keeps track of raw materials. We bring exactly this model to other food plants.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Off-the-shelf software imposes its way of working: its documents, its order flow, a per-seat price list. We build a custom system around your plant - it handles exactly the cutoff times, units, routes and exceptions that occur in your business. You pay once for the build, not every month for licenses.

No. BakePilot was created for a bakery, but the same model - orders from regular customers, a production plan calculated from orders, raw materials and batches - fits confectioneries, meat processors, food processing plants and other producers working on recurring B2B orders.

That is the most common concern before a deployment. In practice customers quickly appreciate order templates and the ability to make changes until the cutoff time instead of calling. Phone orders do not disappear overnight - the office can enter them into the same system, so the production plan is still calculated from a single source.

The system records raw material batches at receipt and links them to finished product batches and customer releases. When you need to show where a specific batch went, you do it within minutes from the system instead of searching paper registers.

A B2B ordering panel is usually €2,875-7,000 net. Ordering with production planning and raw materials is €8,050-14,000 net. A full system with batches, traceability and integrations starts from €16,100 net. You receive an exact quote before work starts.

The first working stage usually takes 4-8 weeks from documentation sign-off; a full deployment takes 2-4 months. We do not stop production: the system launches in parallel with your current way of working and you switch over when the team and the customers are ready.
